Application of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Drug Discovery and Development

Drug discovery has traditionally been a time consuming and expensive endeavor. Additionally, drugs weren’t as effectively designed those that are being predicted developed through AI ML today. Machine learning is form of artificial intelligence develops evolves based on experience (similarly to the human mind), more recently utilized in drug design. The integration into development process allowed for higher target precision, lower toxicity, better dosage formulations. generally introduced leveraged at, each step development, including identification validation, hit identification, well lead optimization, key shortening previously lengthy screening process. also applied downstream formulation where it maximized resource utilization allowing web-based 3D printing drugs. Application extended modeling novel drug-like compounds predict their ADMET properties. This review will address stages which application altered traditional drugs.
